In this work, we have reviewed the literature on different medicinal plants for anti-ulcer activity, this article reviews the anti-peptic, gastro protective of the most commonly employed herbal medicines and their identified overall active constituents has been reported.

Medicinal plants provide an effective and safer way in disease management. Many medicinal plants exhibit antiulcer activity and found useful in the treatment of peptic ulcer. In this review attempts have been made to know about some plants which may be used in treatment or prevention of peptic ulcer.
